Australian Partner Visa
If you are married or engaged to an Australian, or have been living with your Australian partner for more than 12 months you may be eligible for a partner visa.
All partner visas, expect the prospective marriage visa, are an initial 2 years temporary visa and than permanent residency may be granted if you are still in a genuine and continuing relationship. A different visa class and fee applies if you lodge onshore (in Australia) or offshore (outside Australia). The prospective marriage visa is valid for 9 months permitting you to travel to Australia to marry your partner; this visa can only be lodged offshore.

- Spouse (de jure and de facto);
- Prospective Marriage (fiancé and fiancée);
- Interdependency (same sex and mutually dependent).
